Interview with Ingela P Arrhenius

To celebrate the launch of the latest addition to the Nosy Crow Felt Flaps Series, Where’s Mrs Queen? we caught up with illustrator Ingela P Arrhenius to find out more about the book.

A creative polymath, Ingela’s work ranges from wooden toys to wall art. From children’s clothes to ceramics. But of course we know her best for her retro illustrations in our favourite children’s books.

Graduating from art school in the early 90s, Ingela has always loved to draw and was heavily influenced by her artistic parents. First working in advertising and magazines, before moving her focus to products and books, she is known for her retro style and love of typography and colour. Ingela lives in Stockholm with her husband (an author) and their two sons.

Thanks Ingela for taking the time to answer our questions.
